Bitdefender antivirus 2016 is a great piece of security software!
But be that as it may, not everybody finds it easy to use and some might decide to uninstall it.
A word to the wise: Don't use the Windows "Add or Remove Programs" menu to uninstall it!

This guide will teach you how to uninstall Bitdefender Antivirus 2016 and Bitdefender Agent.
Another quick tip: Before uninstalling, choose and download another antivirus software from our curated list.
Make sure you choose the uninstaller of the product you have installed; don't choose an Internet Security uninstaller if you have Total Security installed.
If you're feeling generous, leave a feedback for these guys, but if you don't feel like it, just click the "Download" link at the bottom of the popup you get.
Open your downloads folder and run the file you downloaded. (You can also run it directly from your browser's download menu).
Allow Windows to run the uninstaller by clicking "Yes":
Click "Uninstall" on Bitdefender's uninstaller menu that opens:
At this stage the software will begin uninstalling from your computer.
Follow the progress.
You might get a firewall permission request because Bitdefender's uninstaller needs access in order to configure your firewall properly and not leave your computer exposed after it's uninstalled.
Click "Allow access" to continue the removal process:
Once the process is done, you will receive a confirmation window and be requested to reboot.
Bitdefender has been removed from your computer, and you can install your new antivirus software and go about your day.
